Visa to Dubai UAE

This particular post about Dubai Visa would be useful for us before we started planning our #honeymoon trip to #MiddleEast. To this date Yulia is still just a #Resident of New Zealand, and #citizen of Russia. 

We feel this post is essential for everyone who wants to visit Dubai as a tourist, family member or having other purposes and his/hers passport/citizenship country is not on the list of those exceptional countries like New Zealand.

Here are the lists of countries whose citizens can obtain visa on arrival for 30 days, 90 days, or need to apply online (which may or may not be as simple and straight forward as you think).

VISA ON ARRIVAL FOR 30 DAYS (when your passport will be stamped with a 30-days visit visa free of charge):

Andorra, Australia, Brunei, Canada, Hong Kong, Ireland, Japan, Malaysia, Monaco, New Zealand, 

San Marino, Singapore, South Korea, United Kingdom, United States of America, Vatican City.

VISA ON ARRIVAL FOR 90 DAYS (your passport will be stamped with a multiple entry 90-days visit visa that's valid for 6 months from the date of issue, and for a stay of 90 days in total):

Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, Croatia, Cyprus, Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, 

Germany, Greece, Hungary, Iceland, Italy, Latvia, Liechtenstein, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Malta, 

Netherlands, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Seychelles, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden, 

Switzerland. 

If your country is on the list - awesome news - you one of the lucky ones! 

If your country is not on those lists its still not bad, you'll just need a bit  more time and money.

Strangely enough, we have Embassy of the United Arab Emirates in New Zealand, but they don't do visas... Yep was a very big surprise for us! So if I live in New Zealand. but I'm not a New Zealand citizen, I can't organise my visa to Dubai here.  

So What To Do?

Option 1: You fly Emirates Airlines ONLY! Then they'll organise a visa for you for approximately $100 and you don't need to worry about it. Easy!

They even have this ad on their website (https://www.emirates.com) reminding you about visas, while you booking your ticket.

BUT, if you passing through U.A.E. ( for example you flying to Dubai with EMIRATES AIRLINE, then flying out with FLY DUBAI AIRLINE to another Middle Eastern Country, coming back to Dubai with FLY DUBAI (still U.A.E. owned airline) and then you leave Dubai with EMIRATES AIRLINE), then they can't help you...

All flights IN & OUT need to be with EMIRATES AIRLINE!

Option 2: Find a company in DUBAI, which thank god we have Mr. Google these days, they'll do it for about $150 for you for SINGLE ENTRY.

BUT, which company can you trust it's a question. I'm not saying there are definitely scammers, but I'm not saying they don't exist...

Option 3: If you have a friend in DUBAi, they can officially invite you, and they can apply for your visa from inside of the country.

BUT, as I've heard it's not the easiest process, and they need to prove they have big money in their bank accounts to support you if anything happens.

So the #verdict is to #pay a bit and #avoid all the #stress and #fly with EMIRATES AIRLINE which are authorised to help you with it.
