Home away from home

Morshedi House Kashan

Kashan was one of cities through our travel route in Iran. Whatever you experience in city, visiting museums, etc - its so rewarding to come home - thats how we felt in Morshedi House.

Both me and Arash were adored by the girl named Elly at the reception - such a bright and shining young lady, she just made our day. We were very tired after a long 5 hrs drive, and she took it all away by her smile, bubbly personality and refreshing rose water drink.

Luck was on our side as we didn't manage to book anything and these guys had last room available, so we didn't care much what and where, we just really wanted to have a good rest and deep sleep.

We were given a small room downstairs on the first night, but the whole interior, details were so much thought through, you could see it was done with love, we felt like it was home. Important thing (well at least for us) - you get white crispy towels, slippers, toothbrush and toothpaste, razors and shoe shine. They seriously considered everything to make you feel comfortable :)

On the second night they provided us with much bigger room upstairs, and we enjoyed the whole traditional atmosphere even more.

The morning vibe is beautiful, we woke up to birds singing, quiet traditional music playing outside in the inner garden area.

You can have traditional breakfast inside the kitchen/lunch room or outside in the garden - plenty of different corners to enjoy the food, either on the sun, or in the shadow, next to a pond full of fish. Breakfast was served as a buffet from the kitchen, it was plentiful and healthy.

The overall mood of people working there was so much like a family. They will happily chat with you, and Elly will definitely come in the morning and say hello to everyone :)

Did you know that pomegranate grows on the tree? Have you seen it with your own eyes?

It was quite a memory for me, since all my life I've been in love with pomegranates and finally saw how they grow for the first time in my life!

Here are just a few more photographs of that special place, so hopefully you'll get good overall picture of the Morshedi House and definitely stay there when you are visiting Kashan.
