One of the first attractions on our list
At night its magical- trees are changing colour every minute or so, river is shining, music is playing somewhere, families enjoying a beautiful evening.
Wheel of Brisbane was one of the first attractions on our list. We just needed to decide when to go on it, during the day or in the late evening. Plus this time of the year appeared to be a School Holidays for Australian kids (so much for checking before you go lol). Late evening was very logical in this case, as its time to be at home for all the little ones! Decision to get there after sunset came really easy.
We stayed at 29th floor of W Brisbane and saw Brisbane wheel from up high in the morning and evening. As usual we went with a flow, visited few other places and finally at 7pm ended up here. And memories of my favourite attraction of the theme park of my childhood came along. I forgot my real age and got excited like for the first time.
We got lucky (considering school holidays it wasn't busy at all) so there were only us two in the cabin, which allowed truly enjoy the experience together, take some photographs, cuddle and remember the moment with the great view.
You are offered to take a photo in front of green screen before you go on the wheel. They put the view of the wheel in the program behind you, and it's great if you don't have your own camera which can take a photo (you have an option to see the finished photograph before you buy it). We obviously had our own camera which captured us on time-mode after the ride, happy, full of great memories and wonderful experience.
Its not the highest view of the city, but definitely a very special, fun, romantic and unique experience, which we truly enjoyed.
