Queenstown house boutique bed and breakfast

MOTORHOME SOUTH ISLAND TRIP 2018

"New Zealand Hospitality with Style" - thats the slogan of the Boutique Hotel we've booked to stay overnight in Queenstown during our motorhome South Island Trip.

Mountain view from Queenstown house boutique bed and breakfast

Queenstown House Located just 200m from downtown Queenstown with an array of shops, cafes and restaurants, and offers outstanding views across lake Wakatipu and the surrounding mountains.

We enjoyed every minute of our stay! Private and quiet rooms - we felt like we were the only guests there (rooms and self-contained apartments situated in a very smart way - if you don't want to meet other guests, you don't have to)

We had one condition when looking for a place to stay in Queenstown - it had to have a parking for our motorhome. We didn't want to park it on the road, plus not everywhere it is possible without causing a traffic or getting a fine. Girls on the phone assured us they have enough space for it, and they did!

Our Little Monster was parked very cosy and secure without any chance for parking fine.

Breakfast time in queenstown

The way you being greeted at the place of arrival can affect your overall feeling of a holiday. We did not feel like in a hotel, the feeling was more like you came to visit far away friends.

Hot coffee and fresh little desert, flowers on a table and friendly chat about our trip, which didn't feel awkward or unnatural, we even forgot we had to check in :) Thanks to Emily who treated her guests as good friends.

No rush, absolutely relaxed and friendly atmosphere - thats one of the most important assets of this place!

Lovely view to the patio from our room and no, you can't see us from outside - thats the beauty not every accomodation can offer!

Our room in Queenstown boutique house

Our room was very cosy, super comfortable bed, everything fresh and clean.

It felt like we were expected and wanted here. Kiwi style posters and decorations throughout the place gives you that authentic New Zealand feeling.

That was the day of Yulia's Birthday, so after lunch we went to Onsen Hot Pools and were planning to go for dinner in the evening, but of coarse heard about evening happy hour with Josie, which we just couldn't miss :) We glad we did it! We had lots of fun, wine and yummy nibbles provided by the hosts, stories and experiences shared from different countries. Something you don't ever get in any other place, especially in hotels!

We ended up going for a birthday dinner with a couple from USA we met during happy hour!

Thats what travelling and New Zealand is about!

Iranian, Russian and American tourists in Queenstown

We had great night out, wish we meet each other again!

Next Morning we couldn't wait to try the breakfast we've heard so much about. However we did not hope for much, we just wanted to have something to eat and a cup of coffee. Boy we were surprised!! See it for yourself!

The food tasted just as beautiful as it looks on our photographs.

Overall it was a gorgeous warm, cosy and a classy place to stay. We loved every minute of it and are happy to promise that you'll love it too.

The girl on a selfie with us is a master-chef Emily, such a sweet person :)

As someone very famous once said: “Positive expectations are the mark of the superior personality.” We really love this saying and always try to stay on the positive side of events, maybe thats why its feels that luck giving us great people to meet and amazing places to experience.
